The wonder of nature!

What a fabulous first day we've had.  Lunch at our new home for the week, followed by a 7km walk down to Derwent Reservoir. We then had an evening of games and challenges in the woods, before a campfire with hot chocolate and marshmallows.

Day Two

Let the adventures begin!

Today we have been away from site on instructor led activities, canoeing and caving.  On site the children have been challenged to Giant Skis, Gutter Ball challenge, design technology - Nest building and Den building.  After a long day we were treated to homemade pizza and garlic wedges. 

Day Three

Adventures continued today with more canoeing, caving and challenges faced.  Children learnt about the history of how to Peak District became a National Park for all to access and then used what they had learnt to create some wonderful inspiring artwork.  Orienteering was a real hit and the children were rolling with laughter at the Holy tube challenge.  Finishing the day with our disco night and campfire story time.
