Class 3's Big Lent Walk
4.2 miles for Class 3! (Or is that 105 miles to smash school's target?)
Today Class 3 did their Big Lent Walk, as part of school's Lent mission to give as much as we can. Big Lent Walk is part of the nationwide Cafod mission to help raise funds for the impoverished countries they work in. The children planned their walk, plotted it on a map and sent invites to their friends and family to join them. In just under two hours, they walked an impressive 4.2 miles from school, through Thrybergh to Thrybergh Reservoir. We walked around the reservoir and then back to school.
